Kyle, what did it's blooms look like, do you have any pics of it? is the shape different because of different pollen donors, or did the one just not fill out on the bottom? and how is your mom?

Arlene, all the pods on this cross all had this same shape....some never do fill all the way to the bottom.the walls of these pods are very thick..look like avacadoes when opened!LOL Mom is well..as far as can be expected..hospice deals with her daily now.She is here at home still.

ok, reading again.... so these are both from Rosamond X V Orange? Rosamond was the mom or dad? i put VO on butterfly, waiting for seeds to come up. i didn't write down the date when i pollinated. do you think the offspring will be candida like?
i guess Rosamond is the mom judging by the shape of the seed pods?

That is great Kyle, that your Mom is getting to stay at home so long. There is no place like being home and near your family when you are so ill. I am thinking about you.

I have some very fat healthy bruglings Kyle!

Kyle,
Good to hear your mom is still doing okay, she must be a real fighter.

I'm glad you got back into hybridizing :-), looks like you have been really busy these past couple of years. Wishing you the best of luck with your crosses cuz I'm sure you will get some good looking babies from those seeds.

That was quick! My pods need many months before getting ready to pick.

Kyle, thanks for the pic, very good shot. my memory was jogged, and i believe mine is the pink beauty based on the seed pods, link below, fatter and shorter. isn't it interesting the sisters would have such different pods. Does this mean pink beauty has more dominant aurea genes than rosamond?
