This week there are no doctor appointments, I am staying home from Powell Gardens, etc. What a rare week of staying home this will be for me.
We aquired a new daughter yesterday afternoon. Our live at home son Kyle married a young woman he met at work last fall. She is such a wonderful match for him. Her mother said she had been praying for a good man who would accept her just as she is, horse lover, animal in general lover, plain old country type girl who wants most of all to be a stay at home wife and mother. We had been praying for just such a woman for him and it seems GOD has brought them together. Now if they will just get serious about living for GOD. They both have the childhood training in a Christian life and homes with JESUS as the center of our lives so it isn't that they don't know that just being good isn't enough. The wedding took place at her parent's home in front of an arch her father had made with her mothers cottage type flower bed as a background. So lovely and intimate. Only family and just a couple close friends present. They are honeymooning some place in the Missouri Ozarks until Tuesday or Wednesday.
I have lots of work planned for this week. I want to get some of that brush pile chipped/shredded and applied to flower beds. There is much watering to get done in spite of the 2" rain of just last Thursday. The washer tub planters seem to dry out quickly in the top few inches. They do have a lot of plants in each of them which will use a LOT of water in this hot weather. I need to treat for foliage eating bugs of some type on the brussel sprouts. I'll probably use a tobacco juice, hot pepper, ammonia mix to spray on them. That should take care of nearly anything.
Jack needs breakfast so I'll go do that. His meter says his blood sugar is 45 and that is too low for him to do much for himself.
GOD bless and keep each of you dear friends. May your bounderies be expanded and the hand of our dear heavenly FATHER be upon you today to keep you from harm and evil.
Glorious week at home ahead of me!!!
