Color without flowers

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

I am just learning to use coleus and variegated plants for color where there is a lot of shade.
This bed is growing by leaps and bounds.

Very nice Barb.

I have seen the likes of that little dark coleus. I hope you *really* like it. If it goes to seed, you will have it by the 1000s! I have no idea what it is called, but it does look very nice in your garden.

Butterfly, could it be because of your zone that it becomes "invasive." I am in zone 8.

The dark one looks like Coleus Ducksfoot Dark Red.

Could the dark culprit actually have been perilla? That is a thug even in z.6. Luckily I like it. LOL

Barb that is beautiful!!

Thanks everyone. I am rather proud of the hard work that has gone into that bed. Have been working on it for 2 years.
