Brugmansia flowers pointing up have a problem. Rain or night dew will fill the flower with water and spoils the pollen. I was unable to collect Avalon Pollen until now. The next buds I will tie down LOL!

Today "MY" Avalon is a brug, it is my brug and my refuge...only good friends will understand it. I am happy to see that such special friends like my Avalon, too.

I read a book not to many years ago called the Mists of Avalon in the states. Close to two thousand pages if memory serves me. This Avalon that you have...is certainly one to be in awe of in my book. I would love to see this one crossed with Poppy's hybrid as the two are quite exquisite in form and color.

I can definitely understand. With so many crosses going on one has to prioritize which ones one wants to work with and most especially what direction one wants to work in. I'm hoping you get some very nice doubles with your Avalon and I can say I am very pleased that you are keeping so many pure wild forms to work with.
