Wow so pretty. Wonder if the Chinese Yellow Banana from Earl will look like that?

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Don't know, but I saw this and couldn't resist it. The lady at the booth said it was sometimes called a "Chinese Yellow Banana"....but then went on to tell me it wasn't a true banana....soooo.... Anyway now I'm hopeing someone out there can come to my rescue and tell me about it.....I love Banana Trees and am trying to collect everyone I can... So if anyone has any extras let me know..... :o)

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Kyle or John may know,Hope they will look, and know!It is very nice indeed!!!!

That's the infamous " World's rarest banana ! " It's Musella Lasiocarpa . At one time a certain mail order company wanted $275.00 for a plant ! BLING BLING! They have now come down a tad : ) according to this source they are hardy to zone 7
A local nursery here has them but have managed to escape the exit without one !

Oh my gosh, I hope so. My chinese yellow banana for the 2nd year has grown about 5 ft and then done nothing. I just leave it alone.
