Me too John, this color is so intense,I can't compare it with anything,I love it!
Love those fuschia-purple stems!

That is pretty close to it,not sure since this is my first one.
What kind of nana is that? I think I need one of each!
Ornata Cala, will save a pup for when you get down south!
Thanks Root.

I'm gonna say Purple, since it is budding 3 days after I moved it,and pupin.
I still have NO buds......

This one amazed me CC,it is a pup I moved and Bang it is budding, dang thing can't be 3 ft high, and it has already put off a pup! That is why I think it is a red.Cheer up girl if I can do it you can too!
I put all the ones John sent me in HUGE pots, all but one is doing great. The heiconia died back but sent out new puppies........

What gets me is the color,my cheapo camera does not do justice to the fushia color of it!

LOL!I better hide it in the corner.
Wow so pretty. Wonder if the Chinese Yellow Banana from Earl will look like that?
Don't know, but I saw this and couldn't resist it. The lady at the booth said it was sometimes called a "Chinese Yellow Banana"....but then went on to tell me it wasn't a true banana....soooo.... Anyway now I'm hopeing someone out there can come to my rescue and tell me about it.....I love Banana Trees and am trying to collect everyone I can... So if anyone has any extras let me know..... :o)
Kyle or John may know,Hope they will look, and know!It is very nice indeed!!!!
That's the infamous " World's rarest banana ! " It's Musella Lasiocarpa . At one time a certain mail order company wanted $275.00 for a plant ! BLING BLING! They have now come down a tad : ) according to this source they are hardy to zone 7
A local nursery here has them but have managed to escape the exit without one !

we have it at work and it has never bloomed in 3 years.
Oh my gosh, I hope so. My chinese yellow banana for the 2nd year has grown about 5 ft and then done nothing. I just leave it alone.
