If you Have fresh Basil,Mint & Flat leaf parsley, try this.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1# Dried spaghetti
3/4 C.etxra virgin Olive oil
3 cloves Smashed garlic
1 Tbs. Red Pepper Flakes..more if desired
1/3 C. Chopped flat leaf Parsley
2 Tbs. chopped fresh Basil
2 Tbs. chopped fresh Mint leaves,Spearmint or other
Cook pasta al dente (still some firmness)
Drain and save some of the water to make sauce.......
In Large saute pan,Med Low , Heat oil with the garlic 2 minutes,watch carefully,if it burns it gets bitter.
Remove garlic (or not ) add pepper flakes ,heat for 1 min.
ADD approx. 1/4 cup reserved pasta water 'Carefully' stir to combine.
.....................................
Add pasta , toss to combine. Check for adding salt to taste.
......................................
Sprinkle fresh herbs on pasta and toss ''just'' before serving.

HINT....You may want to get the oil,garlic,pepper mixture ready and waiting for the hot pasta.
