This flower is so bright, very yellow ribs, and bright hot pink, hope the next blooms look like this. Eventide x Jessie. Susie I forgot to tell you, my L'Amour fell over the other night in our storms, but the peice that broke off was huge and had a few roots so I am potting it up!
Tye-Dye
That's so cool looking!
very pretty, what's it look like open?
Please post a picture of an opened flower.
It has some small buds on it so I promise I will post the next ones, but this one fell over and I fear this one will not open again, but I will check in the morning.
I would love to see an open bloom on this also. I will be patient and wait Tracey.
Wow, it looks so bright! I love the way the color of Eventide is carrying over into the babies!
I'm sorry that you had wind and it broke your L'Amour and your seedling.
I like those leaves too. Can't wait to see an open bloom. Hope the color holds.
Tracey I had to put my sunglasses on just to look at the screen. I can't wait until she opens.
the leaves are huge on this one! Gee Susie, what a happy mother you must be and Tracey you are the best adopted Mom I know!
Tracey is a good brug momma! I will send all my special crosses that I want to bloom fast to her!
Congrats Susie and Tracey!!! Gorgeous . . I think you both will end up with some real beauty's.
Susie sent her seeds out far and wide and did so with so many special crosses. Lots she sold so cheaply for such special crosses thru her internet store Cala's Tropicals and lots she sent to friends just because she does that kind of thing!!! She did not hold any of her special crosses back just for herself! Talk about the true spirit of sharing! She really learned that lesson in kindergarten. So many are now expecting and anticipating all sorts of thrilling new brugs. THANK YOU CALALILY!!!
yes, everyone I know on this forum has done the same. isn't it wonderful??
It's wonderful to share. That's what it's all about. I gave 90% of my seeds away from my fall and winter crosses and I will be just as happy to see pictures of them in everyones gardens as I would if they were growing in my own. The true spirit of gardening is in sharing.
Edited to add I also have seedlings growing from seeds sent to me by a few generous members here. Thank you for sharing with me. :)

True words!!!
I shared much plants with some brugnuts from europe. It is so good to have your brugs growing in friended yards.
When you share with friends you can watch them grow!
Right!!
yeah, and you don't have to feed them! LOL!!
Roflol, but please post only good crooses.......lol again.
I have grown seeds from many people here as well. I wish I could have shared more of my own seeds, but a couple of pods don't go very far. I did share a lot of the seedlings I've grown and hope that at least one person will get something nice from their seedlings. I'm really anxious to see all the new crosses and hope that a few of them will be the kind that will "Knock your socks off"!
Man, I mispelled again.

One day we will find a legal way to share seeds.
Tracey did it open today? I can't wait to see it. Brugie I am with you I think we are going to see allot of great crosses this year that will "knock our socks off".
It did, but it been rolled on the floor so much, it looked terrible! I just didn't have the heart to post the picture:( On the up side...... it has about twenty little buds~~~
Sounds like brug abuse to me Tracey, time for the brug police to make a call!
Time for us to go confiscate her brugs.
I think that is only right!
Tracey, are all the leaves that large. Also, they are almost round-interesting. Nice job.
Tracey,
Why was that Brug rolling on the floor?
Gloria, I haven't moved them into bigger pots, they are in 3 gallon pots, I was waiting for them to bloom to see what we wanted to keep or cull. Unfortunately we had some pretty nasty storms and they keep ending up in the floor!
Oh now I understand. I thought about nailing some of mine to the deck but couldn't figure out how to get it to work so I just tied it to one of the deck poles.
Glory, I too have tied mine to the deck poles before! Sure keeps them from falling over and smashing other plants.
Its a beauty!
Tracey, I just love Tye Dye. What a neat looking brug.
