Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

A good morning to everyone.
A nice gentle rain falling here this morning. If I had put in an order for rain it would have been exactly like this. I popped a hole in my garden hose and didn't get my garden watered like I needed last evening so this is perfect.
Not so much going on in the farming department here. I remain amazed at the foraging abilities of my goats. I watched a LaMancha Nanny eat a thistle last evening. I think she thought it was candy. OUCH! I leave a few thistles on purpose for the butterflies and goldfinches. They are such a popular wildlife food source.
My twin black lambs are growing well. They are a joy to watch.
One of my heifers is bagging up. She herself was a bottle calf, so it is so easy to check her. It will be her first calf.
well, off to the salt mine. I'll check in later.
