its really starting to get seriously hot here---do yalls dats turn on the growth when this happens?----everything else seems to be in a heat lull, but my dats are going nuts, I tried to avoid watering and feeding them since they seem to be so nonappreciative,---I just dont know which is causing the growth spurt? oh yeah? I have a cosmos question thats related? My cosmos short way tall and bushy but only give off a few lame smallish blooms? are they another plant to give the bread and water treatment too? cheryl
Dat question?
i never feed the datura plants i grow. i was unable to save seeds from last year, but i do see datura plants springing from the flower pots that once where situated near the daturas from last year.
i have transplanted them on the ground, so far they are doing good. same thing with the cosmos plants i grow. they are on their own. i only water them morning and afternoon, since it is too hot in the upper desert of So. Calif. the cosmos are nearly 4' high.
Dats are weeds, treat em that way.
