I need a refresher...
Which kinds of pods are the ones that don't turn to mush when ripe?
Was it versicolor?
What is creamsickle considered?
How long did other creamsickle pods take?
I have 5 pods on it,and 3 of them are soooo huge the plant is bent almost to the ground,Chuck actually braced it up tonite ,1 is a little soft, not like my normal ripe pods, but none of my pods have gotten quite so big.......
More questions
2 of my double whites bloomed, were different from each other, but not sure if they are tagged correctly.
One was unstuffed long tendrils tagged Candidia double white,(I crossed with EP) and the other was tagged enchanted double white,STUFFED,tendrils not as long, and I crossed with butterfly......
both crosses look good so far(now I probably jinxed it)
I shoulda taken pictures but I was going crazy last week.....
Creamsickle pods?
Creamsickle is a versicolor. When the pods are 4 months old they are ripe (usually). The pedicel never did turn yellow on them, I picked and cut one pod and it was ripe so I picked the others too. All the seeds were ripe.
Sounds like the tags were mixed up on the CDW and the Enchanted; Enchanted is not stuffed and has very long tendrils, CDW is usually stuffed.
