Angel Trumpet 'Afterglow' (Brugmansia Hybrid)

A small flowered variety with good tolerance to heat and humidity.Leaves are smooth and dark green.Flower color is yellow with orange corolla rim.Long tendrils.Flower size is approximately 5 inches long by 4 inches wide.

Boy you gotta love those Trumpets. Yours is Beautiful. Do you have the White and Double Purple? I have the double purple but it hasn't bloomed for me yet. It does have buds and it should be in bloom in a couple of weeks. I'll post pix when it does.

Willow,you will enjoy the Double Purple Datura.It smells as good as it looks.I no longer grow those.Just concentrate on Brugmansias now.

Willowwasp,Arlene,from here at DG,sent me a couple of Angel Trumpets (Frosty Pink and Dr Seuss).As soon as I saw them bloom I was hooked.Maybe obsessed would be a better word.I have about 70 varieties now including a couple of my own hybrids.Afterglow at the beginning of this thread is one of them.In fact,Afterglow is from a seed from a cross of those two original plants from Arlene.
So to answer your question....no,no problems with the DP just grew to like these better.Check out some more at
