I just got the call I've been waiting to hear: The New Orleans Audubon Zoo called and my goats were accepted. I am so pleased. The Zoo Board agreed that goats were worthy of the Children's Zoo. They will be leaving me soon :( but at least I know they will have the best possible care they can get. (just in case you are lost on this story http://davesgarden.com/t/388375/) So, if any of you ever visit the zoo, be sure to give my babies a scratch under the neck and tell them hello! (goats HATE to be petted on the top of the head, they love under the jaw and neck)I am so happy for my little guys!
