It is obvious where Carambola's other name of Star Fruit comes from.

Taste being subjective, I stay away from saying if a fruit is tasty or not.

But I can describe the fruit this way:

"Kari", "Sri Kembangan", "Fwang Tung" and few other varieties are juicy and sweet with a mild but pleasant aroma.
