Any thoughts on dividing Eremurus. I have 3 plants that have become very crowded. They have just stopped blooming and the flower heads will be coming off soon.
Dividing Eremurus
you want to do this when the plants have completely died down. be very careful because the main spider like roots are easily snapped off. replant them close to each other for maximum effect and remember to place them on grit because they dont like too much wet around their crowns and lastly they like their noses just below soil level
Hi Mark, you mean when the leaves have died down as well? I have heard of the roots being brittle. Will have to dig a large hole it seems. Thanks!
yes fully died down.
Thanks!
