Here are some more Rothkirch pics. Still can't get the removable disk to work right in the camera and had to save one at a time to "my documents".

LOL Root! I wish it were mine! It is Susie's. Though mine may be blooming also. It had a bud when I left California. I asked my DH the other day if any of my brugs were blooming and he said yes but not to ask him which ones! LOL I am just happy they are showing signs of life!!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Susie, it is so spectacular with those extremely long tendrils. I am so happy that this bloomed for you before your move.

Kell, did yours bloom? Did DH take a picture of it?

Gorgeous, I'm drooling.

FSH, TX

Great pictures as always Cala. How do you pack and find time to take pictures for us? I love this Rothkirch for sure.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Eric, I take my camera with me in the mornings when I have my coffee in the garden.

I have to say five x Wow! as Michele did. I simply can not get enought of this color and these long tendrils that makes it look like a Brug flower riding a harley davidson or a bentley without any roof. The tube looks so straight and slender towards this spetacular bended edge. Thanks for posting the pictures Susie and thanks Rothkirch for flowering for Susie :)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I agree Brugie. earlier your post of your Rosamond/PB was right next to this one of Calas and I thought they sure look similar. I really get so excited when I think of all the bruglings people are growing out. We should have some great pinks! absolutely great! LOL

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Yes Kell I agree, and hopefully they won't look anything like Frosty Pink!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

well then, you better quick get them out of my yard...........LOL!!! I can see it now. Kell's Frosties with the parents of L'amour and R!!!

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

ohhhhhhhhhh cala---RxL'amour? yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! you sent me seeds for that one!!! I cant wait!!!! :) cheryl

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, are you saying that you might give up your Frosty's to make room for more of the better pink ones? I like Frosty, but one would be enough and I even gave that one up here last year.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

No Brugie, Cala was saying she hoped all the new fancy pink bruglings people are growing won't look like Frosties when they finally all bloom! I was saying then I better get my fancy pink bruglings out of my yard before they bloom for even the most fancy pink blooms Frosty in my yard! LOL

Maybe with DH taking good care of yours, might change your luck for the better pinks, no more "frosties".

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Kell, I just asked, what do you mean by that? *lol* Now mine is out it is your turn to take yours out *lol* It was fun trying to eat this, but it was going a bit slow with the comunications :) What shall we eat next time?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Tonny, if you pull that bloom out of your mouth, the tendrils will stop reaching down your throat to tickle your tum!

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

*lol*lol* Kell, you are absolutely right :D

I still can not come over seeing such long tendrils *lol* Isn`t it just great that such flowers are?

btw. can I help putting your DH on the compost, if he has not taken good care of your? I could bring my little brother. He can both dig him down and water him *lol* Maybe we can get him to bloom then :D

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I just wrote on another thread of yours:
"On another topic, my DH called me tonight to tell me I have HUGE pods on my GL.................. LOL LOL LOL He said they look like huge peppers hanging down. It was esp. thrilling to hear for the way he first framed the observation I was sure he was about to tell me he killed it. LOL Most of them on there are GL X L'amour!"

So I have to be very nice now to him.......LOL or he may pick those big fat pods off!

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

*lol*lol* That is SO great news, Kell :D :D He must have been taking good care of your Brugs to make such an observation. Congratulations with your growing crosses. I bet that you will have some nice dbl. pinks from those seeds :D

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I think he could not miss them, Tonny, he said they were huge. He sounded so surprised!

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

So, is it the first time he really looked at them?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL You are right! I bet this is the first time he has really looked at any of my plants. I had not thought of that! Poor guy. He had no idea how many I really had!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

So now! The cats' outta the bag! He may thin them out while you are away? Sure hope not! Good cross K.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Bump,I still love the tendrils on this picture.
