Most of my brugs were budding or blooming, this morning at about 6 am the sky opened up and we had hail, wind and rain. My brugs as well as my EE's,bananas,and all my tropical foliage plants look like shredded lettuce.I could just explode....just yesterday everything looked so great and growing so good..now this!!! :-(

Sorry Kyle,I'm sure you would have been putting on quite a show,lets hope it is early enough that things recover.
I have some plants that a really nice guy brought me Friday. Would you be needing any of them.....Sure sorry to hear about the weather creating such havoc on your plants.
I'm sorry to hear about your new "lettuce" garden... but isn't it great to be here where people offer replacements? Sorry I have none to offer myself, but I don't do much in the way of brugs and tropicals.
I have some tropicals if you are needing any replacements.

he plants will survive..its just that they looked so great and now.what a mess.Many seedlings were tore up too.More storms tonight they tell us.We just need rain..no hail and wind.Thanks for the offers everyone. I'll get by. :-)

Kyle: So sorry to hear about your heartbreak. It's just the time it takes to recover, can seem so long.
I sorry to hear too, Kyle. There is not that much left of your season. Now, I hope they will look great again and put out new buds. Especially sorry to hear about what happened to your seedlings.
Not fair at all! I am so sorry. Isn't hail ice? Is that normal in Iowa in July? What a 4th of July with hail!
my heart sank for you Kyle--to see something crushed that you created with your sweat and your patience. I lost many much seedlings this year first to late frost and then to flooding.... :( sending you good "repair" weather. cheryl

I understand all to well what you are going through, Kyle.
Just do what I do, repair it best you can, add a little something extra pretty, and leave the rest to divinity, and all will be beautiful again!!
