You asked how it survived while I was away. Thanks to a LARGE pot, it did just fine. I have this pot stuffed with water crystals. I new it wouldn't dry out. Thanks again for picking these up for so many of us.

Snowbank for AnnaZ
wow such a pretty filled pot, not to mention your gorgeous snowbank! I have 2 big pots that color. I filled them with daffodil bulbs and pansies. They just finally died down just before I left town and I planted dahlia in them literally as I ran out to the car for the airplane. Your pot is so much better filled!! Ideas for next year.
So, you two! Pliiis! Don`t let Lene see this picture or hear about whatelse you put in those pots. I know what she will do with all our Brug pots forever after. *lol*lol* Just kidding. Yes, it is pretty. What are those nice green leaves with the beetroot colored veins. Coleus? Like them as well. Lene gave me some seedlings like the white ones that hangs out over the side of your pot, so I would love to put those down to Ida, but whatelse can I put in. Both Lenes seedlings and Ida has white flowers and there has to be a bit variation to it, right? I am so glad for you that Snowbank is still so healthy looking. Any signs of buds yet?
Kristi, your Snowbank looks better than mine and I haven't even gone away! I finally put it outside, have had it in the GH and think it was too warm, when we had the 90's.
Love both you pots. I have an old wash basin up on legs, probably from the 30s that I have planted. I love potting up weird containers with lots of different things. My problem is lack of room. There should be a container contest this summer, so be sure to take lots of pics so you can enter yours
You have such neat ideas for planting pots. They are so pretty and your Snowbank looks very happy!
I love those combo pots Kristi. Is that a petunia in the second one?
you know a good half of my gardening pleasure has to do with what I can "recylce" not so much for enviromental purposes ----tho I care about that--or for money reasons--tho I HAVE to care about that, but because you can create something unique to your garden. My hubby made a wonderful bench by cutting down the base of an old sewing machine and topping it with a rough plank, and took apart an old swimming pool fence and made an arbor for my roses *which ninja'ed up at a burned down homestead* my pond liner was an old swimming pool liner covered with pea gravel.....its a challlenge to create what you want, with limited funds, but loads of creative ideas-----and wonderful seeds and cuttings. cheryl
Tonny- coleus in one of the pots. Canna pink beauty in the other.
Gloria- my snow bank had a problem with leaves burning at first. Seems to be out growing it? I have it in a pot that is very large and has LOTS of water crystals and fertilizer. Would only do this in the summer months.
Cala- those are petunias. I love the way they seem to light up.
BrugNanny- just when I think I'm getting the hang of pot combinations, one throws me for a loop. Take my MAIN center piece pot. It looks HORRIBLE. But I'm not sure from lack of water or bad planning. Going to rip the whole thing up this week and do it over. Even the brugmansia that is in there looks BAD. REALLY bad. I hate to start over, but don't have a choice. This pot was suppose to be 'THE' pot.
Cheryl- I'm with you. I love 'bulk' trash day aound my town. I'm always picking up neat things off the side of the road.
Kristi, such an inspiration. I simply had to stuff those seedlings into the Ida pot. Not particular beautiful right now, but they will grow, they will grow :)
