What a great shot, nice clear bright photo.
thanks Lenjo,, best I could on an overcast afternoon.
Overcast is probably better, don't you think? The bright sun actually washes color out when photographed. The Photographer at our DD's wedding said overcast was much better for picture taking. Do you find that so?
Yes, however the brighter the better. Reason is more
light allows for faster shutter when not using
a tripod and remote release. Also, the colors can
be off in the direction of gray/blue. Some digicams
have a setting for "clouds" to compensate.
I've not used a reflector but some get good results in
sunlight with a reflector balancing out the shadows.
The washout problem has to do with too much contrast
within the flower itself. That's probably why reflectors
are used to fill in. fwiw, Bob

Hi Bob, I'm curious about your Rudbedkia 'Irish Eyes' because I thought 'Irish Eyes' had a green center disk. We planted 'Irish Eyes' seeds and this is a foto of what they look like. The name 'Irish Eyes' for this Rudbeckia comes from the green color in the center disk. Green for Irish.
