I watch "Trading Spaces" and the least favorite designer there is Hildy. However, I learned something from her yesterday. She said that adding texture or pattern to a painted surface has as much impact as changing or adding another color. And that seemed to be true on the wall she was working on.
I do NOT recommend her treatment of a beautiful bathroom where she stapled silk flowers all over the walls. U-GLY! and stupid.
