Datura held my fascination and love. I still adore them. This guy is so purple he is almost black. It will be interesting to see how he turns out. It is early for this guy to be blooming here.
Before Brugs
That is the way mine is Debby. Should open tomorrow or the next day, but the plants are not tall like they usually are. Can't wait to see what it looks like. My triple yellow dat had three blooms on it yesterday and I've had one triple white bloom. The Inoxia that Glory sent me is just now starting to bloom too. You are right.....that baby almost looks black.
I wish I had some datura. I loved mine last year for the short time I had them last summer before they keeled over. I hope you post another pic when it opens Deby. It look so deep.

Shirley: You are ahead of me. My double yellow isn't anywhere ready to bloom. My belle blanche are about ready to open. Post a pic. of your triple yellow. I will want some seeds and also of the inoxia. My inoxia's that I tried to grow in the greenhouse didn't make it. Your right, this plant is not tall at all. My B.Blanche's look like they are dwarf, they are so short. Wonder what's up with that.

Hey here's a guestion? I have been feeding the daylights out of my brugs and dats as well, but it doesnt seem to impress the dats that much,---do they just not like alot of fertilizer, or am I just not giving them enough time? had one double yellow to give me a bloom but only one and then it has just sat there-------not really growing much. Do they take longer to mature? cheryl
I rarely fertilize my dats. Maybe once a month. You are right, I don't think they like the stuff. My triple yellow is a small plant, but the blooms held for two days. The heat today did them in.
