okay i got a wonderful surprise from Cala today. my brugs came. well one of them was broke. i cut the broke part off. I got the main stalk thats what left is the stalk part. i figure it will have new leaves coming off it soon i hope.
Now what do i do with the broke off piece? i got it in water but i need to know do i root tone it or what. never rooted a brug before. thanks Imzadi

I would trim off all wilted leaves and put in water.
Imizadi, just take the broken off part, dip in root starter and stick in moist vermiculite, perlite or sand. The green shoots root best in vermiculite for me, but I know others use perlite or sand with good results. The rooted part will put out new branches and leaves.
The one of mine that broke was put in water and got the pretzel look in a day or two then had roots a day or so after. I potted it up yesterday and it looks great!!! Looks like I will have two GQ! Who loves Cala?!?!?!
