*lol* ... and that is not so bad though. This is the years first flower, but there are buds on everything. Maybe not all 300, but on more that I can count from here. Next in line is CG, Gelber Engel, Nina Lane crosses and several others that I like to tempt you with later. I am particular proud that Larrys crosses as Nina Lane x and L A Find x will bloom in not so long time :) The last two puppies was picked up today, so now there is time to care more for the (poor) Brugs again *lol*
Here is Hertzenbrücke in the middle of a color change.

wwwahh! All the blooms is coming after me *lol*
Looks almost like my J. Pasko. Pretty one!
Aww...you must be sad to see them go! But I'm glad you have lots more time for your Brugs LOL. Hertzenbrücke is lovely!
You will have to take lots of pictures for us Tonny.
Oh Tonny, the puppies have gone off to their new families. How sad but how nice also. Will you get to keep track of any of them and visit? That would be so nice. Is Momma and Dad sad tonight looking for them?
wow that pretty much glows!!!!! You gots puppies? awwwwwwwwwwwwwww I just love the stinky way puppies breath smells--reminds me of being a kid again. :)
First one of the year is the BEST!
That is pretty! Did you take pictures of all the color changes, begginning to end? That fascinates me.
Gloria, has you flowers in JP now as I like to see, what it looks like. I have a plant that has not Y´ed yet :)
A bit sad though, but we ware so lucky that the seven different families matched each of the pups temprements. Here is Nikolai sitting on the doorstep putting a line on the last of the pups. He was here Friday and picked him up Tuesday and in the meantime he spend much time selecting a line beautiful enough for the puppie to wear :)
Yes, I promise I will, Susie :)
Kell, mom and dad was not sad at all, but very releieved as long as they saw a family take a pup with them. I have had e-mails from several of the families and they asked if they could send some pictures as they grow up and I think that it is a gift to be allowed to follow them a bit more on distance. However, I thought here would be peaceful and quiet now, but on the contrary. Both mom and dad are playing and enjoying to be given full attention again :)
Cheryl, yes I got to take the pic. when the sun went down. Yeah, I like that puppy small too. It reminded me of fermented grass, cooked meat balls and something very sweet too ... that is impossible to describe :)
Root, yes, it IS the best one *lol* The second evening I put a chair next to it and sat there for a long time enjoying it over a cup of coffea :)
Michele, I will try and do that with the next flower. It fashinates me too. This one was greenish yellow when the bud started to show, then changed to yellow and then came the edge color in orange and now I hope it will have the wonderful dark orange with a hint of red or pink as I saw last year :)
That is good then Tonny. I remember my mom cat cried for several days as she walked around looking for them. I felt so terrible I have never let my cats have kittens since.
Kell, that was so sad with your cat mom :( When the little brown male was picket up, Snui didn`t see them go and she also spend time sniffing where the little one has been in the garden. At last she followed its trail to the gate and then she figured out, calmed down and started to play with Terry. I was a little sad though that I didn`t made Snui aware when the folks was leaving with the pup though, but it helped to get a big hug from Lene and then all in the family was happy again :) btw. I forgot to post Nikolai with the second last puppy that I mentioned above *lol* Aren`t both of them just not cute :D
Great brug Tonny! Nikolai sure looks happy with his new friend.
It does look a little like Pasko, but more orange I think. Nice flower Tonny.
Thank you for the special pics Tonny! I do truly enjoy watching them turn colors. My very first brug bloomed white the first time. After I moved it inside, the flowers blushed pink. I am told the very first flowers may not be reliable, and the temp and light changes will greatly affect the bloom colors. I am waiting for this same brug to bloom this year to see what awaits me. Between Cala, Brugie and tiG, I am sure to have some surprises. I have also received some from datdog, farmgirl, anna z, gee I hope I have not left anyone out! I have carefully labelled each brug with who it was from, crosses, etc., as much info as I have. I cannot wait to see what I end up with. There is so much distance between some of us, yet so much closeness too. Ain't life grand??!!
It sounds truely exciting with the one blushing pink. I see that you label your seeds/ seedlings with hybridizer name as I do. That is wonderful. It helps keeping track and reporting back when something exciting happen. That is a nice thing to share *lol* Yes, isn`t it fantastic that so many people and personalities from all over the world can meet here and discuss their passion for Brugs, give advice and not the least have a lot of fun. When you really think about it many of us would not have met, if it was not for the internet and DG as well :) Yes, life is Grand!!
So true Tonny! And the brug forum always gives a good laugh!
Yes, it does. Was you here that night over a year ago, where I did not know, what kind of cakes Owen baked ("Owens cake") *lol* I actually thought it was a cake and started offering another baking prescription *lol* I miss having him here. btw. have any of you ever tried how many ways you can root a dotting?
I wonder how Owen is doing. I got behind in my saying hi to him.
Root a dotting? LOL Tonny, what is a dotting?
Kell, ha, ha, it is of course a short for doggie-cutting, dotting *lol* http://davesgarden.com/t/387890/
Here is the mother plant *lol*
and what a great dotting it is!!! Send me a piece to root myslf!
Okay, great! *lol* Can I give you an ear or do you want to have along tail? Just curious *lol* They roots very easily. The ear grow big as a tent btw. and the tail can grow into large snakes that eats a pot of soil in one big bite. btw. The flower has started to loose a bit of its elasticity, but I still thing its good going to last for 5-6 days (incl. tomorrow *lol*).
