Good Morning Everyone,
Things are back to normal here for me today. Hubby has been gone for a week to visit obscure relatives. He is thankful to be home. Hubby does't really have many close relatives and these were his Mother's only cousins. They are constantly fighting amongst themselves.
First thing I need to do around here today is find out where the short in the electric fence is. It is warm enough now the animals lay low in the heat. The sheep like it under an old corn crib. My black twin ewe lambs, Belle and Starr and growing like gangbusters. Belle has a thicker body , while Starr has longer legs.
I think everyone around here got rain yesterday but us. I didn't water the garden last evening and was just sure we would get a gentle rain last night and I wouldn't need to. So I got up early to water before it get to hot. My lima beans haven't germinated yet. I haven't gotten everything I wanted to get planted in my garden, but Hubby likes the speckled limas.
I have some daylilies in bloom. I really just got started planting them last year. One of my friends split some of hers. They are unnamed but very pretty and a nice variety. I bought a few named ones that are lovely as well. One named Strawberry Candy is especially pretty.
ok, well I'm off to start my day.
