seed question
it's really not that hard, and they are as easy as almost any other. Here's some detailed info that might help, but you can do it!

Imizadi, some friends in the Pod'ners project at ABADS and another group of friends from BBGA tried experiments. We peeled the seeds and dipped them in 10% bleach solution before germinating in wet paper towels sealed inside baggies. They were kept at room temperature(though some put them on top of the refrigerator or hot water heater to keep them warmer). We got 90-100% germination in half the regular time. Within 2 weeks, most of the seeds had germinated. When they are sealed inside the baggies, no fungus gnats can get to them, so that's a bonus.
As a control, we germinated some unpeeled seeds in regular potting soil. Germination was poor(sometimes only 10-20%) and took about 8 weeks average.
or taped to the back and sides of our computers.....LOL
Hey Kell . . I never thought of that.
It was the only warm place I could find in my house, Frannie!! LOL, as I have the computer whenever I am home!
