I have several large clumps of liriope that I am willing to divide up and re-pot until good roots establish, if anyone would like some for postage. I am thinking on the order of perhaps 4-6 in. pot size. I need to know who might like some so I can get started with the dividing and potting, hopefully to have them ready to go out when it cools off a little...(i.e. fallish timeframe.) Since these are pretty common plants, I am not sure if anyone will be interested, . I have been using them to line new paths I have been making in the yard. I have enough to line paths to the moon, almost. These are the standard solid green type, not variegated.

Anyone interested in monkey grass?
I'd like to try some please...thank you
can I take the monkey without the grass? LOL
Sorry, couldn't resist ;)
I don't have anyplace to grow it or I would love some as I like that one
Yes ma'am, I'd be interested. I can purchase it here, but I like to have things in my garden that belonged to someone else.
If you want to wrap the roots in wet paper towels and stick the wrapped root-ends in a Baggie, I'll bet they would survive the trip now, without mud or potting.
If you do have enough to share, would you please let me know how much should be sent for your time and for shipping? Thank you. -- Jean
Me too!!!! i want some, let em know when it is ready to send. janet you could probably send it now without doing all that work if you wraped the roots good with wet paper and then plastic around the wet roota and then cover the whole thing with news paper and tape up. no pot needed. just a thought.
Well, its your choice, if you done mind getting it the way I have it, I can send it sooner. Pls email me and we can start setting up plans...
Kris
flowox...you fox...what would YOU do with the monkey...LOL
I'd be interested in one pot please...can't send a answer to you email you cause there is something wrong with my computer and it seems all emails are being returned to me as un-sendable. Sorry bout that. But i'd like one pot please
I edged one of my garden beds with monkey grass this past fall. None survived the winter. In what zones is it viable?
Padre, a Texas friend of mine brought me some several years ago, and I was thinking it would never survive my zone 5a winters,,but it lived and is thriving. Of course I'm sure there's different kinds, as with anything...but I was thinking,,if it can come from zone 8 Texas and survive zone 5a Missouri, it must be a hardy little plant. Here's a photo taken in June,,, Is this the same kind being offered here? I'd certainly like some myself.
Yes, thats it. I love it for lining the edges of beds, paths, etc..
Kris-
If You Still have some Available.
I would be Interested in a 'Small' Clump.
"Thanks"!
ZZ/Lelan.
Kris, I ould appreciate any you might have hanging around. Would it be alright if I went and picked it up myself? (We are practically neighbors as Texan neighbors go ;-))
Love, lavanda
