Peruvian Daffodil (Hymenocallis festalis)

I have had this bulb for 8 years, just moved it 2 years ago and this year fed it with bulb food and time release fertilizer. It is blooming for the first time. The leaves are giant and sword-shaped. It is similar to the amarylis next to it, but much, much larger. It is said to bloom in July. My first bloom was June 27th. It has quite a few more buds.

Common name: Peruvian Daffodil

My son had a row of these beautiful jade green fleshy plants on the south side of his house in central California. To sell the house we installed an irrigation system and, they bloomed!!!! I took one bulb and, the next year I had 3 flowers. That was 3 years ago. This year I've picked 21 stems and there are 3 more coming!! They are planted by our "stream" and are kept very wet all year long. I don't give them any other care. Besides being a strikingly beautiful flower, they keep blooming for 7 to 12 days after being cut. Our only problems are snails and frost.

This flower looks more like Hymenocallis galvestonensis http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/114050/

or Hymenocallis latifolia http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/259288

I'm leaning towards Hymenocallis latifolia. Wormfood, do you agree since you posted a link to that entry on this photo thread?
