If I sent you Leonotis (Lion's Ear). . .

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

It is actually nepetifolia and not leonurus. I apologize for the confusion. I imagine, like me you are growing it for the flowers, and you'll still get them. :) I traded them by the name I got them by and I realize this sometimes happens. The only big difference seems to be the foliage.

Hobart, IN(Zone 5a)

Michele, you sent me one and I really like it, it's not blooming yet but even the foilage is beautiful.

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

You sent me a bunch of them and I figured out what they are. I love them and they are growing so big! Flowers soon I hope.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL I am glad you two are so happy with them. I can't stop growing them (from seed) every year!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Michele, but those are sticky little seed pods you have to deal with. First time I grew them, I learned to wear leather gloves to collect the seeds. No problem here. Well, yes there is.....was.......the rabbits enjoyed one of them when they were small. I thought it might come back, but it didn't so I'll just have half as many seeds to collect. LOL!!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL I know what you mean! I think the plant oughta be called lion's CLAWS! That is sure what the spent flowers feel like! ha ha ha

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

wow, that is one cool plant. if you have any extra seeds i would like some for next year. a little late for me to start them now in zone 6. thanks debi z

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Debi, I had three set aside for you when things went amiss. LOL I have to find out who still wants them from previous requests so I can get the rest out of here. I think I planted a dozen or so for myself and some of the extra seedlings are about two feet tall. They are going to be too tall to mail soon.
