Oxalis regnelli, I think is the proper name. I've wanted this plant for a long time, and now I finally have a place to keep it in the summer, and a way to store it in the winter, as I think it's more tender than some other species. Anyone have a bit to share? I have several perennials and water palnts I can offer in exchange (please don't go by my tradelist, as it's definitely outdated.)
Looking for Purple Oxalis
terry i have a bit i can send you email me with details.
terry, also have a few i can share. btw, also have some little green oxalis that only grow to 12". really cute. makes a great little border. what i really want is some variegated ground cover called dead nettle (lamium). there's anne greenway or white nancy. what i would really like to trade is some 'purple' ajuga ground cover. if you knew where there was any, i could send you the oxalis, either one or both, you could send something to what's-his-name and what's-his name could send the the lamium to me.
years ago we called that an abc deal maybe the other person that had a few oxalis for you might have my lamium. please ask her for me and give her my e-mail address. no telling what else we could do, both being in texas
get back to me. regards, dick
sorry i do not have what you are looking for.
dtroost, I do have variegated Lamium, mine is Shell Pink, and I have the bronze ajuga (it's not the "chocolate chip" variety, but it is quite bronzy.) I'd be glad to trade you a bit of your two Oxalis for some of these two plants if you're interested. That way, I'll have two starts of the Purple Oxalis, and I can try one in the GH and bring one indoors this winter (I think that's called "plant insurance", considering I'm a registered houseplant killer, lolol!)
