For my pods! I was so afraid they wouldn't ripen in time to dry them before the move, but they are ripening right on schedule! These are ones harvested in the last couple of days.(others are already dry and safely packed away in my seed box)
Hope you can see them, I laid them all on the quilt without thinking it would make them hard to see.
Harvest Time
My goodness! And you have time for that also?
(She must be SuperCala)
:) hope they grow into something wonderful soon.
That is great Susie. You have been busy, busy, busy.
Wow Susie! That's cool! Best of luck with your move!
WOW Susie. I have never seen so many seeds and to think these are only from the last couple of days. I am so happy that they ripened for you before your move. Girl you are going to be so busy when you get to Texas.
Cala, it looks like the timing for the seeds couldn't have been better before your big move - I know I'd never be so lucky! Btw, if I hadn't read the posts or looked at the enlarged the picture I'd be wondering what kind of exotic ravioli dish you just baked! I know you are fond of cooking with grubs - just didn't know you could chop and color them! :o)
Susie, When I first looked at the picture I though it was a pizza. LOL
What are you going to do with all those seeds?
Fantastic that the pods ripe in time before your move. Maybe the Brugs knew and had a good sense of timing *lol* Its wonderful seeing all those crosses lying there waiting to dry up and that really gives one a sense of how busy you have been planning, crossing and harvesting.
Gloria, At first glance, I also thought it was a pizza!
Carol and Glory, I thought it looked like a Pizza too. I didn't use a flash(that one came out fuzzy)so it has a yellowish cast.(now how did I get such a reputation for my cooking???)
Glory,I'll give some of the seeds to the Pod'ners program at ABADS, I'll share the "special" crosses with friends and some are specific crosses for "experiments" I'm doing and the rest will go to the store. At least it's quit raining for a while and the humidity is lower which should make them dry faster!
Wow Cala, I really don't know how in the world you do it all. You are one woman with allot of endurance :)
Nice spread of seeds!!!
Holy cow!!! Now that is a seed stash if I ever saw one! LOL And you laughed at my collections (of course mine weren't all Brugs!). LOL
Cala I don't know if I have the stamina to help you plant all those seeds and brugs too! LOL I got the package. I owe you ..again! My OE is out.
Glory If your seeing pizza you must be getting the muchies from all the chemo..smoochie!
Frannie,
At least we know where our true love is....FOOD!!!!
Are you going to plant all the ones you are keeping Cala, as soon as you get to Texas? Rows and rows of new bruglings!
Susie, you are going to have a spectacular crop....I am waiting anxiously to see what all you come up with!
Good luck to you, and I am glad that your pods dried before the big move, I too am waiting on some pods to dry here (poppies though) I dont think I am going to be as fortunate as you.
Thinking of you every step of the way in my packing and hoping that all is going smoothly for your move.
Wow, that is a lot of seeds and crosses. Can just see all the new hybrids next year.
Where in Texas are you moving?
