I have been watching these buds the last few nights and tonight they are starting to open so I think some of them will open up tonight.I can't wait.

Wow, I can tell from the calyx and the length of the tendrils that it will be a beauty. Can't wait to see pictures when they are true color and fully opened. Looking good Peggy.

Kell it's Knightii a new one for me for most of you I am sure its boring it will be my first double. Snail meal? Tonny it will be white so no color change. Ok It's open and can see the skirt ( is that what I call it?) up there. How long before it drops? Ok I never had a double before bare with me!
You sure can't talk bad to me about the single white,I'm sitting here enjoying mine,it is the first to bloom for me and can have a hundred blooms,good for at least 3 flushes.

Mystic Im waiting for my first bloom---well actually bud for that matter. If I had a double about to bloom I would camp outside to wait for it. :)

Mystic, my knightii never drops anything like that of creamcicle. Chances are you will enjoy the double flowers by looking up- and inside LOL!
Peg, isn't that a half munched newspaper on the ground on the side there? my snails love newspaper meals!
I have never seen a Knightii and would just love to!! It may require a few blooms before you get one to drop Peg.
Knightii is a lot like CDW, it may drop a few, but more have the skirts about the same length, like peticoats and others are stuffed like the CDW. Dennis is right, Creamsickle drops it's second skirt(corolla) much better as does Enchanted Double White(which is almost yellow for me this spring)
Ok guys I have tried and tried to get a get picture this is the 2nd flush this thing blooms and blooms.

Not a real good picture but I have tried so many times to get a picture. Some of the blooms are single but I do like it. Has a nice fragrance at night.

Is Knightii supposed to drop it's skirt? I have a couple who haven't ever. It's been a filled bloom. Am I missing something?
Mine have never ever dropped skirts. And it is my second oldest plant. Until recently I thought it was amazing...but look at creamsicle!!

Hee hee, not only do I have trouble operating my computer, I have trouble with phone buttons too! I remember when phones only had a buttons to dial with and a button to end the call!!! Now they've added dozens of them just to confuse me!
You all oughta see it in person! I just could not stop groping the blooms and looking inside! Serious envy on my part!!!! I had to leave before I got to smell it, but I had to put have of Peggy's yard in my trunk, and front and middle!! LOL
