Higgins is a cat my mom's friend adopted from the local Humane Society shelter, but could not afford to keep. At the time she was trying to find him a home, we were in the midst of construction (and trying to find Buddy beagle a new home) and could not even think about another cat. Her friend gave him back to the shelter.
Well...We went to visit Higgins today and filled out an application. The lady was confident there'd be no problem with the background check and said someone will call us back today, and we should get to pick him up tomorrow.
He's a pretty black and white fellow, current on all his shots, neutered and declawed. He's 2 years old.
