Look at the size of these blooms. This limb was way down low and got shaded a bit. The color is a little lighter on this limb too.
First Day is huge
Which one is this? Very, very pretty!
Beautiful! What a yummy color! It's First Day, Hibiscus, the name is in the title.
Oops! How could I not know that? Thought it was just the first day of bloom!
Susie, it is just beautiful. Thank you so much for being so generous as to share cuttings that you had rooted. Now I know what I have to look forward to. Wow, what a big bloom!
Wow Susie! !!
MY BABY!!!!!!!
Susie, its very pretty.
That is one HUGE bloom. Very, very pretty!
Wowsers!!
LOL CC! Cala recently sent me one of these and when I was looking it up, I saw that you made this one. Very nice!!! Can't wait til mine blooms. :)
Thanks again Cala and thanks for the pic! I know I will love this one!
Michele, when you do any trimming on yours this fall or later, would you put me down for a little piece of it please? CC did a good job on this one and I'd love to have it in my garden.
CC you sure did a great job on this one.
Wow! What a shape, Calla :D
What great color and so girlie girl! Love it Susie and CC!
I like it.
Well Brugie, you can have anything you want! How about a kid? LOL I can give you a wide age assortment. LOL I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up with one by now, but if not I would be thrilled to give back to you. :O)
Hey Michele....forget the brug and send the kid!! I would rather have a little girl around here to keep me company.
Thanks!!
Shirley,...still more company?...lol. You have to rest sometimes.
HUGS

LOL Well, birthdays are rolling around soon. What would you like?? 2,4,6,8 or a 10 year old??? LOL Better take the 10 year old while she still knows everything. :O)
Send the 4 year old. They are so much fun and I spent 17 years teaching that age group, so I could keep her busy for a long time. My 6 mo. and 3 year old granddaughters are coming Thursday to spend the day. I can't wait. The oldest loves flowers so I'm going to let her water until she hates the sight of a garden hose. LOL!!
That is HUGE!!!!
Very impressive CrestedChik. Nice flare for sure on this one.
OMG!!!!...The SIZE of it!!!! It's MASSIVE!!!
Good job CC,keep them coming!
LOL, I'm not awake yet, I clicked on this picture, but couldn't figure out how you all could determine that this bloom was so big, until I scrolled down a little bit and notice there's a hand hiding behind it! it IS huge! It made me wonder, is there any kind of record for the biggest bloom ever?
So this was a seedling of CC's? Who were the parents?
Wondering the same thing here CC?!?!
And if I can ever get a slip of this one,I just keep looking at it over and over!
Simply gorgeous!
Just wondering...what exactly are the measurements of this one? How many inches wide and how long?
CC will never tell! Trade secret!

I didn't think to measure. These are unusually large, I think the extra Osmocote plus this limb being shaded by larger plants made this one limb have larger blooms.
it's a beauty :)
Actually the parents are -Mom- Suavenolens pink, unnamed, looks quite like a Isabella ,very dark, and the Dad was a Suavenolens white,un-named.....
looking for pictures.....
on the 2nd to the last post on this link is 2 links to the pictures of the parents....
