First Day is huge

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Look at the size of these blooms. This limb was way down low and got shaded a bit. The color is a little lighter on this limb too.

Michele, when you do any trimming on yours this fall or later, would you put me down for a little piece of it please? CC did a good job on this one and I'd love to have it in my garden.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Well Brugie, you can have anything you want! How about a kid? LOL I can give you a wide age assortment. LOL I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up with one by now, but if not I would be thrilled to give back to you. :O)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hey Michele....forget the brug and send the kid!! I would rather have a little girl around here to keep me company.

Thanks!!

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Shirley,...still more company?...lol. You have to rest sometimes.

LOL Well, birthdays are rolling around soon. What would you like?? 2,4,6,8 or a 10 year old??? LOL Better take the 10 year old while she still knows everything. :O)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Send the 4 year old. They are so much fun and I spent 17 years teaching that age group, so I could keep her busy for a long time. My 6 mo. and 3 year old granddaughters are coming Thursday to spend the day. I can't wait. The oldest loves flowers so I'm going to let her water until she hates the sight of a garden hose. LOL!!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

That is HUGE!!!!

FSH, TX

Very impressive CrestedChik. Nice flare for sure on this one.

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

LOL, I'm not awake yet, I clicked on this picture, but couldn't figure out how you all could determine that this bloom was so big, until I scrolled down a little bit and notice there's a hand hiding behind it! it IS huge! It made me wonder, is there any kind of record for the biggest bloom ever?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

So this was a seedling of CC's? Who were the parents?

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Wondering the same thing here CC?!?!
And if I can ever get a slip of this one,I just keep looking at it over and over!

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Simply gorgeous!

FSH, TX

Just wondering...what exactly are the measurements of this one? How many inches wide and how long?

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

CC will never tell! Trade secret!

I didn't think to measure. These are unusually large, I think the extra Osmocote plus this limb being shaded by larger plants made this one limb have larger blooms.

It's lovely

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

it's a beauty :)
