Psilo, this is the one opium poppy that I have at least color wise is the same, mine might be more single, this one almost looks semidouble.I will be saving lots of seed.
From seed trades last year I see a double light pink one and a dark burgundy one coming. I think I got my seed from weezingreens and fairyhunter.

This is my first year with poppies, but it certainly will not be my last. I purchased 4" pots of several "peony" poppy and this one, which is the 1st to bloom. One of the peony poppies is currently over 4' tall and just starting to bloom. It looks like I may need a 2by4 to hold it up. :-}
Thanks for the comments.

I have some bread seed poppies as well, and they are four feet tall, but they have tiny green worms under the leaves. Some blew over in the wind, and mine are just plain not a pretty as yours.
