1 c. strong coffee
2 c. raisins
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 large Tbsp. lard (or margarine)
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. allspice
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Boil first 5 ingredients 2 minutes; cool. Stir in dry ingredients. Put in 9x13 inch well greased pan. Bake at 350 F for 45 to 60 minutes
