Finally have some blooms!

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

I have quite a few blooming now but most are so short. Only 3 or 4 tall ones yet.
What a great thing to see when you walk around the yard.

I just wanted to thank all the Dave's Garden members that got me started with brugs and sent me many, many of these and other plants too. I am thoroughly enjoying those plants and the online garden as well. You are all great and it is my pleasure to hobnob with ya.

Connie, those are lovely!! I wonder which will come from the rootbeer plants! LOL I have coined those Brugs the rootbeer brugs. :) I think there are five in there now. THANKS!!!

Ha ha, may have a new one and you CAN name it that! Did you ever find out what's wrong with the ee? I haven't had one yellow like that and am not sure why it is doing that. My mama is now over 6 ft and growing.

Weeds, after seeing your photo of Shredded White, I'm not sure that's what i have. I bought it under that name. But I can't remember that it split off to the side when in bloom. It will be a few days before the bud that i have opens. Donna

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

That's the first time I've seen a pic of shredded white, it's amazing!! Is it a double or a triple or what? I've never seen one like that before

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Great pictures......

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

Carena, I don't know but maybe some of the brug people will answer.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I would call it Shredded because it doesn't have layers. It just has lots of petals that give it a shredded look. Maybe someone who has taken one apart can tell you if it is double or triple or what, but it certainly will not look like any that you have ever seen before.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Fantastic Weeds!!!!It looks very nice!I bet it smells great too!

rutholive, post a pic of yours when it blooms and Plays you have mail.
THe aroma is heavenly all over the yard. Double pleasure. Hey that would be a good name for a new double somebody is making right now.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

looking really good. brugs are just too addicting.

Paxton, FL(Zone 8a)

Beautiful, weeds. Ya'll don't let her fool you. I've been in her yard and the whole thing is gorgeous! Picture perfect, very unlike mine, which will be a work in progress for many years.

Carena, I love shredded white. The blooms are multiple petals, totally different from other brugs. The fragrance is totally different too, and wonderful! Mine has been blooming prolifically since late winter and has just now taken a rest.

Gingerlily, hush yur mouth! Say, your shredded and my shredded look different. Maybe mine is something else?

Paxton, FL(Zone 8a)

I was wondering if the petals on yours stayed that way or if they flattened out with time. Arlene gave me this one last year. Ya know, it seems like mine looked more like yours when if first started blooming months ago. I'll find a picture of the first bloom and see if there is any difference. Hey, there's no telling what I've done to it. Probably not enough fertilizer and it is in a pot.
