Back from France

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

I spent a wonderfull time in France( at Philippe`s).
Now I am back and very tired...have had a 14 hours drive.

I`ve found a new double pink in France. I like to share a picture. I have a large plant of this hybrid in my car. Will bring into the Greenhouse this morning.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Awesome color..I have come to the conclusion..that the difference in soils and water PH make a big difference in color between USA and Germany. the colors all seem so much richer and darker in Germany.Welcome back! :-)

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

Kinda like their beer? lol

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

does it have a name?

FSH, TX

This is stunning, but I can't help but think this is just too deep a color. Not in a bad way, but could this be a bit of orange mixed in with this one? Its most certainly gorgeous at any rate and thanks again for posting. This is going to be one that one simply has to see in person to fully appreciate.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Eric, it isn't too deep a color for me!! LOL!!

FSH, TX

Lol, yes I'd have to agree with you Tig. If I had one like that I surely wouldn't hesitate to use this one for its color alone. Of course if one could get bright yellow stripes or a yellow kiss to this one....

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

Ludger, I love this hybrid. It's called 'Mon Amour de Mareuil' (Elke Dubach, Mareuil, France, 2001) or MAM for short!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Welcome back Ludger. The flower is beautiful. I love the rich color.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

You're going to give someone a fabulous Christmas. Lucky them! I can't stop looking at that brug, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. Do those leaves below the bloom belong to the bloom?

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Liz,
Lol: I donīt like to sing any christmasssongs during our very short summer.
Rudolph will find the Brugnuts even in late summer.

May be he must rent the brugtruck...lol.

Happy Greetings

L
