I lost one of my babies today

(Zone 5a)

I am sorry to report that my little Oreo was hit by a car yesterday morning. He would come to my house every morning and meow until I let him in to eat and play with Babygirl. He would also sleep on my chest a lot until around three in the morning when he would wake me up by nibbling on my nose and head until I would let him outside. If I didn't he would meow the rest of the morning until I finally would give into him. He like to run with his sister and play in the garden a lot.
This morning we found him laying in the street and it wasn't a pretty sight, he now rests in my garden along with my other cat Bittles. It really hit me that it was him this morning when I went to weed the garden and he didn't come to me or the door. That is when I broke down, I am so use to having him with me while I am in the garden and it was just more than I could take so I came in the house and just broke down. I really needed a friend to talk to so I called Lupy and she came over and it did help a lot to tell someone how I was feeling. I do thank her for her kindness and don't know what I would have done without her.
I have lost two cats in two years and it not something that is easy to take. I do miss him but I am glad that he knew he had two people that loved him and also gave him a home to come to. He was seven months old and in that short time he had a good life and was well loved. This is a photo of Oreo sleeping on my chest.
