A most beautiful brug

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I went out to look at my brugs with a cup of coffee. I couldn't figure out which one this was, it was beautiful! It is planted right next to a Ross Estey Hibiscus(my mostest favorite hibiscus)and is almost the same color! It's Georgia Peach, Eric Knight's hybrid. This picture still doesn't capture the beautiful shades of peach and pink that this brug has in the corolla.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Gorgeous color on both. Both beauty's. Thanks for sharing!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I was just thinking that this display on here the last few days is so mean to the newbies. I remember when I was new here and was in a perpetual state of lust and greed as I would view these pictures. Made me nuts! Now 1 year later, I have finallly realized I can't have every brug known to man and every beauty postd on here. LOL........well I must admit I can still aches for a few I see! LOL

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

They both took my breath away. Beautiful colors. You do what I do--inspect the "troops" in the morning with coffee in hand. A delightful chore.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Susie, i wish you good luck with your move. i hope you'll be close to frannie, i would love to be.
it is a beauty. my goodness, i come back and the brug lust starts again.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Love thoses colors. Hibiscus' are my next favorites, after brugs.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh Susie, they are both lovely! Did you get a pic of them together?

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

Kell, you've described my state exactly, I am that newbie, I've gone totally nuts for sure, sitting here wondering why every person doesn't have every brug, and hoping my newbie-lust will recede before I lose my job for being on the internet looking them up all day! I'm droooling all over my keyboard and annoying my co-workers by saying "look at this one, look at this one" every three minutes. I'm as blissful as can be though, it amazes me how happy it makes me to see all these beauties, every blossom is a miracle to me! oooh, I've got it bad!!! LOL

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Badseed, I wanted to take a pic of them together, but the Hibiscus is facing the wrong way! Ga Peach has more buds as does the hibiscus, so hopefully they will bloom at the same time again!

Very pretty Cala.

Knoxville, TN(Zone 7a)

Calalily,
Your brug and hibiscus are the most wonderful color. They remind me of sherbet!

I am very happy with my FP (that I got from you) that bloomed last night. I had to tromp out in the yard this morning in my robe and slippers to take a picture so that I could show off to my co-workers.

Also, my white whiskers (that I also got from you) is full of buds. I can't wait for that one to bloom.

How is your move progressing? Is your greenhouse still open? Nat

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Nat, we will be at the gh a couple more weeks, almost cleaned out. Wasn't that Whiskers seedling pretty for a white? Glad your brugs are blooming! Post pics!

Knoxville, TN(Zone 7a)

Yes, the WW was really the only white that I've seen that I REALLY wanted. And it is just gorgeous.

Everything that I have gotten from you has really done well. I was hoping to use your greenhouse as my winter storage (smile - kidding), but the drive to Texas would be a bit much. DH said I should get a greenhouse if I really wanted one, but I would have trouble leaving for work if I had a greenhouse. It would be almost like leaving your children at daycare for the first time. It would be TOO distracting.

Will you keep your online brug and tropical store when you go to Texas? If you say yes, I will not agonize so much on how to overwinter everything - - but instead will become a good customer if cuttings don't do well.

Let me know if you need me to help in any way. Nat

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Susie, they are gorgeous. What a wonderful site in the garden to see.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Beautiful....both of them. I love the deeper peach color. Some day............I'm lusting again too Arlene.

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

Its truely beautiful with the shades that shows in the picture ... both this one and also the hibiscus is masterpieces worth learning from (not that other Brugs not are!). When I look at the hibiscus I keep thinking that its a Gods miracle how all those color shades gently mingles.

Biel, Switzerland(Zone 7a)

Absolutely gorgeous flowers Cala! I am still in bud stage, and hoping the temps drop below 98c soon..the weeds are loving it though, lol.

FSH, TX

Cala, you take the most flattering pictures. I must confess the color on your hibiscus and on Georgia Peach are to die for, but then I'm biased as peaches and brugs with multiple colors showing are among my favorite hybrids.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Nathalyn, yes, I'll keep the store online. I'm getting ready to stop shipping next week, winding down till fall when I'll have more.
Brugmansia, it's okay to be biased. Ga Peach is a beautiful brug, you did good!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Very pretty again, and yippee I got that hibiscus!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Tracey, I am so glad to hear that . . snip . . snip . . they are very easy to root!!!!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I can do that Frannie!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Wow what a great combination!

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

its like a soap oprah here---lust---for more then one brug even--double crosses----without named fathers---the heartbreak of having to cut your losses (compost joke) and losing your cuttings---(snif snif)and everyone cant wait to see who the baby looks like? *raised eyebrows* guess thats why we all "tune" in.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Cala, both are stunning! I love the colors on both.
Good luck to you on your move, I just read about it. Hope all goes well for you. I am in the middle of a move too, and boy let me tell you, I've had it up to here with boexing stuff up - there is something to be said about minimalists...Maybe in another life I could be one - lol
