IRIS, to trade, warm zones only!

"down the Shore", NJ(Zone 7a)

Have several fans of:

Iris confusa
Iris japonica

These two are hardy here in my zone, but will never bloom, as the flower scapes freeze if temperatures drop to 20 degrees or so.

Interested in trading with someone in zone 8 or 9? who has a chance of blooming these.

Entertaining offers of ???

Thanks,

John

John, I'm in 7a and I've left my Japanese Iris outside in a pot for 2 years--never could decide where to plant-- and it bloomed this year for the 1st time. I didn't know they wouldn't bloom if winter temps were too low. Linda

Thanks John, I always thought it was the same plant. I learn something new about plants everyday.
