Hi...my neighbor's daughter has stared her own garden this year. She adores the deep dark purples and black flowers. Does anyone have any seeds they's like to trade or SASE. The only thing I already had were Black HollyHocks.

I was interested in the black flowers, too, this year. I started some Black Pansies. Here is a pictue of my first bloom over the weekend.
I still have seeds or might be able to dig a few of the plants from the container as it might start to get crowded in there. I never know how many plants to put into a container as they start out so small!

I have a dwarf bearded iris that is just starting to bloom. Can send you seeds later if you like. It is called sensation and is such a deep purple it is almost black. I could send you a plant but do not know if it would make it through customs. Let me know and I will save some.

WaWild, I may have some black peony poppy seed (somniferum) to share. I also have some clear crystal black pansies already started in 6 packs. Trading plants would be possible for us, since you are in the Pacific Northwest and they shouldn't be too shocked by the climate change.

We have a lovely West Australian native pea, Kennedia nigricans, the black coral-pea in our garden. The plant is a vigorous climber, with large black pea flowers, with a yellow centre. I will happily provide seed by SASE, although you will have to wait as it is mid-winter here at present and it will be a few months before I can collect seed.

I have some of the black and white columbines but they haven't bloomed so far. I bought them as small plants and don't expect them to bloom this year but next year I hope to have a lot of beautiful blooms.
I'm also looking to trade seeds for some black flower seeds:
my 16 yr old is looking for them.
Any seeds left for black hollyhock and blk pansie, dwarf beadreded iris, etc.
