Starting July 1 there will be a national registry for "DO NOT CALL." There is a good article at http://moneycentral.msn.com/content/Banking/FinancialPrivacy/P49439.asp
For those of you in California you can sign up now at http://www.nocall.ag.ca.gov/
After July 1 register with the Federal Trade Commission at http://www.ftc.gov/donotcall
