Variegated Costus

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

Of all the new things we carried this year, this is so far my favorite. The foliage is gorgeous, and the way it spirals as it grow is pretty interesting.

Did you get any of these John? If so, you can expect about 3-4 spikes off each one.

Yup.

I'm done. I will be using all of John's pictures.

*note to self* --- "Do not sell John 1 or 2 varieties next year." I need something to hold over his head.

I'm starting to feel like the mechanic that's helping everyone with their Mercedes while I have rusted hulks sitting up on blocks in my yard.

What from my list didn't you get? It will be in the mail. Seriously.

Chris

LOL,, Chris I took one look at tiG's list ,then prices and did not even care what I had in the garden..Just said one of each please!
If you hold back on a couple.. how can I post a pic of how fast and quick they bloom ??? : )Here's a night time pic of Chians Mai Snow.. not sure if the spelling is right ?? I have never had them grow and bloom so fast!

WOW.

Everything I have is sprouting with full foliage, but I'm probably 2 weeks from the blooms you have, and they were planted well before yours.

Can you welcome a visitor that comes bearing gifts, for a day? I'd really like to see the conditions these are in. It'd be a nice road trip in the Mustang as well, for my wife and I.

tiG, I sent you one of those today :-)

Those costus are great! The leaves are so soft and the underside is furry, like a cats ear..lol. They grow very fast and the flower is just beautiful.
