New from Wisconsin

Waukesha, WI(Zone 5a)

Just recently got laid off after 30 years, and this is the first year that I really enjoyed SPRING !! I'm hooked on gardening.... Watching plants shoot up from the ground, then growing little buds, and blossoming into beautiful flowers is just unbelievable. Its like having children around the house again. Have to get up every morning and check up on them. LOL ..... I accidently found DG and just love it. I've learned so much just since I've joined a couple days ago. Hope to get to know some of the friendly people that are on this site.

Welcome from the Michigan UP! I've just recently found this site as well, and have become totally addicted to it. I'm an experienced gardener but am absolutely amazed at the expertise so many here have (and freely share)! Getting laid off after 30 years stinks but glad you've found a very positive side to it. Hope your spring is better in Waukesha than what we're having, and enjoy your garden!
