flowox, love that color datura. I grew one several years ago from seed, but it was white with lavender edge. I like yours better. Donna

I think this one is so pretty!
I love daturas. The first time I saw one it was at a nursery in Half Moon Bay a few years ago. It was in a 3 gallon can for $29 and was about 1 foot tall. It was in September! I hesitated for just a moment as it was so late in the season but the guy told me it would be fine all winter. He did not know its name. It was the most beautiful flower I had ever seen. A triple purple. Well I got it home and within a month it died back and never was seen again. Last year I tried growing a bunch, they did great and then suddenly all dropped dead. It was heartbreaking!
I wonder why? *goes n checks her dat babies*:( like synchronized death? my datura blooms are sorta giving me something to tide me over till I actually get a brug bloom.
My Frosties got jealous and killed them I think!
