Black background.........lol

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

Ok, so it opened up and I had Jim hold up some black fabric........it kinda turned out ok :)
I still don't have a name for this one. It seems to look yellow until it opens then it's mostly white with just a hint of a yellow tint

Hey, that's kind of pretty for a white one. Looks like ruffles all around edges.

Homestead, FL(Zone 10b)

Very pretty flowox. Does it have a great scent?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

your black background is great......a family affair....LOL!
I love your flower, all ruffle-ly along the edge.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Sure makes the bloom stand out. Great way to show off blooms. I'm going to have to find some black velvet or something black anyway. Great pictures Susan.

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

thanks everyone........it smells nice too :)
I went to the thrift store and they always have 2 colors that are on sale, one is 50% off and the other is 75% off so I buy fancy dresses for the fabric to do crafts and got a black velvet dress for less than $1..........can't buy fabric that cheap at the store........lol
that's what I had Jim hold up for the background

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I swear someone was using a sweater before.......
