Uh-oh, think one of my cuttings is mismarked!

I got three rooted cuttings that were labeled candida Double White last fall. One of them didn't make it, but the other two are fine. However, they don't look a thing like each other! The big one looks suspiciously like Dr. Suess to me. What do y'all think?

Here's the big one by itself.

The little one all alone.

Hope you didn't get them from me, LOL! I would think the first one is not CDW, mine are all smooth edged. The CDW have kind of furry leaves. Spidermites seem to love them most!
CDW usually have a deep green leaf at least in my yard. I think you either need a nitrogen boost there or some iron may green them up. good luck!

Nope, Kell, I haven't gotten anything from you (yet!).
They aren't as yellow as they look in the pictures, for some reason, this camera makes everything lighter and more yellow than they really are. Guess I'd better not take any people pics with it, they would look like they were sick!
I just went out to look at the other one, it isn't fuzzy at all. Maybe they both were mismarked. Oh, well, I still have her list, so I can go through it as they bloom and try to match them up.

Kell I remember you or someone mentioning that their fuzzy leaved brugs gets mites really bad. Mine never seem to get bugs, while the others get mites horribly. I just think that's interesting, means we have very different climates I suppose.
Amen to Avid.

I think I am going to have to break down and buy some Avid. I get rid of those little bugs and then all of a sudden they are back full force. I notice they like true arborea also, and those leaves are somewhat fuzzy. Is Avid a systemic or do you have to spray every little surface?
