I bought a St Johns wort shrub a little over a year ago now and it still has not bloomed. In fact it hasn't even grown much. I checked the PDB and the leaves look similar. I used some MG weed/feed for the garden and lost a few plants, but this looks like it is putting on new growth since. Do I need to give it acid like I have to do to my Azealia's and camilias? It is well mulched with shreaded pine bark to keep it moist.

Ours are mulched with ground bark. A handful of 10-10-10, thrown at the base is all the care I give the shrubs, beyond a minor trimming each fall.
