GORGEOUS!!!

Nemesia don't get the credit the deserve. A basket of nemesia in full bloom is a real show stopper. Carnivals are larger blooms than some of the others, but they are all beautiful. I think they may prefer our milder summers.

So that's why the blooms are bigger than I remember seeing before.

That's quite possible, Starz. There is a mix called 'Tapestry' that has more compact plants with smaller blooms. The colors are more varied, with many bicolors, but 'Carnival' is always the best performer for me. I've also grown red/white & blue/white cultivars, and this year I'm trying the purple ones. They are one of my favorite annuals.

I'm so glad I saw this thread. It reminded me of a combination I want to do again. One year we had a huge pot on the deck growing with Nemesia Carnival and Godetia Lady in Blue. We affectionately called it Leticia. Really stunning combo that was purely intuitive. Don't think I've seen it elsewhere. They're on my list for the nursery run next week. Thanks.

Stellapathic: Sounds wonderful. Godetia is another one of my favorites, though I've never grown the blue. It seems I bought seed, so I may have some in the greenhouse and I just don't know it. Thanks for the reminder!
