Buds on Herrenhauser Garten

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Have 3 long buds on Herrenhauser Garten. Watching everyday-they are in pots and if it rains--I am bringing them into greenhouse. My luck--they will drop off. Will keep everyone posted. They were wintered in the hoophouse and are about 5 1/2' tall. Will take pictures tomorrow.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I hope these bloom for you, can't believe you missed the other blooms! you deserve them!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I hope these will stay on for you and that you can pollinate them or at least save the pollen for another brug. Sure hope you are able to post a picture. Are you keeping it in full sun now or what?

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Good luck, Barbara, no one else in US has had the buds stay on, including me.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Don't bump the door getting it in and out!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I was just thinking of you today Barb, wondering why I never see you post lately! I heard you were the nicest person at Roz's and that is hard to be with all those incredibly nice girls there! I sure wish I had gone now!

Can't wait to see your pics esp. if they look like the pic that Ludger posted awhile back. It was something dreams are made of!

Barbara--You must have the touch to even get blooms! Congrats!

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Desert-rose, No magic touch-they must be kept in greenhouse during winter and in growing condition--their flowering cycle must take a long time.

Kell-you know Roz is always exaggerating!!! LOL

Barb, I sure hope those buds stay on for you. Post some pictures soon.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I'm sooooo excited for YOU!!!!!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

*Chanting* Barbara! Barbara! Barbara! LOL

Congrats

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Wow! I am thrilled for you!! I kept my rooted cutting alive all winter then it suddenly bit the dust. I am sad to have lost it, but consoling myself that it is a finicky one. LOL I'd take a field of Frosty's if they would bloom all year. :)

Barb,
Is the buds still on?

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Fingers crossed for you here!!!!!!!!!

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Gloria, they were on this morning but we had a downpour this afternoon. Will be tomorrow before I know if the rain knocked them off. If they haven't, I am going to put them under the hoop-house which only has plastic on top and sides are open.

Dripping Springs, TX

Rain rain go away--- please knock off Barbara's buds another day!

Glory are you and Ron available for a phone call this weekend or next?(had to include Ron--he says the calls are never for him)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Barbara we are crossing our fingers and toes for you. Hope you've got some special pollen to put on it when it opens.
(ps, Roz didn't exaggerate, Barb really is a super nice person)
