Confederate Jasmine, Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides)

Rockledge, FL(Zone 10a)

This vine is few years old. It continues to thrive
and bloom in the summer months with very little or
no care. I have to continuously trim it down. The
5-petal pinwheel like white flowers are mildly but soothingly fragrant. This photo shows how it has covered
an wall.

Common name: Confederate Jasmine, Star Jasmine

I am looking to propagate my star jasmine, how do I go about doing this?

Rockledge, FL(Zone 10a)

I have no idea about propagation. The previous owner
bought the plant for $1.79 and planted it.

I'm trying to cover a wood fence that is mostly a smooth surface---w/o much for a vine to attach to.
How has your jasmine attached itself to the wall? Is there a trellis?

Rockledge, FL(Zone 10a)

Don't worry about the smooth surface. It is a wood fence and that is good enough for the vine to climb all over it.

Thank you!
